En stilla dag i Alice Springs. Vi akte till det ursprungliga Alice Springs och telegrafstationen som finns dar. Valdigt intressant. Lite knappt ar det att Alice sjalv som stan ar uppkallad efter aldrig varit dar utan var frun till en av de forsta som kom dit. Sen ar det ocksa lite lustigt att det var torrt som bara den i "springs". Floden ar ytterst sallan vattenfylld darfor har man ett batrace dar da deltagarna ar utkladda till batar. Den enda batrace som stalls in om det finns vatten :)
24 Nov: A calm day in Alice Springs. We went to the previous Alice springs and the telegraphstation that is there, very interesting. It's odd that the Alice that the town is named after never has been there but was actually the wife to one of the first to come here. It's also quite funny that it was also very dry in the "spring". The river is very seldom filled with water so because of that they have a boatrace where the participants are dressed as boats, it's the only boatrace that is cancelled if there is water. :)
